Here in L.A. you have no more choice. All the vegetables, are packed into a plastic bag, with 2.5 lbs each. I used to get my blender to murpree those hard stems & leaves than boil them with Canned Chicken Stock, since I have no more upper teeth.
Buddy, you are a good son. My own son & daughter will not come back to L.A. to visit me during theirn X'mas vacation. That is North American (including Canadia). Old Man has to accept this kind of life, since I fell in love with America in 1970's.
